The “In Their Shoes” program aims to develop empathy in middle-section students by encouraging them to see the world from different perspectives and understand the feelings and challenges of others. In this program, students will be prompted with a situation and asked to reflect on how the character would feel and what challenges they might be facing. They would then respond with ways they could help the character in the situation.
The objectives of the program are threefold. Firstly, to develop empathy in middle-section students by encouraging them to see the world from different perspectives and understand the feelings and challenges of others. Secondly, to foster a sense of community and promote teamwork among students by encouraging them to collaborate and share ideas to help the character in the given situation. Finally, to reduce the number of bullying cases in the school by fostering positive relationships among students.
